HB artists Janine Hall, Ruth Richmond and Su Bonfanti shared a two week residency at Mawddach in North Wales on the edge of the Eryri/Snowdonia National Park from 28 May to 10 June 2022.

Our focus was on walking and drawing. Our aim was nicely expressed by Rebecca Solnit in Wanderlust: ‘… thinking is generally thought of as doing nothing in a production-oriented culture, and doing nothing is hard to do. … and the something closest to doing nothing is walking.’ By doing nothing together for a while, we hope to create space for something new to emerge.
